What Does A Treatment Involve?
When i arrive i will go through a consultation form, and discuss any areas of concerns you may have about the health and well being of your horse, whether it be physical or behavioural. I prefer the owner to be present throughout the first vist, but i dont mind working alone if this is not possible or you are too busy. Please allow up to 1 hour for the therapy.
What Happens After The Treatment?
Your horse should feel relaxed and content but may also feel energized. You may notice your horse drinks more water and may pass more wind or stools than usual. This is quite normal.
Will I Need To Book Further Treatment?
Some horses, who do not have serious problems, may only need one treatment every so often for a pick me up. Horses with ongoing problems however, will benefit from a course of treatments then go onto regular maintenence visits.
Before I arrive it is compulsary to have had contact and consent from your veternairy surgeon.
Please Note: None of the treatments are intended to replace or act as an alternative to conventional treatments given by a Vet. The Veterinary Surgery Act of 1966 (amended 1996) prohibits anyone other than a Veterinary Surgeon to diagnose ailments and giving of advice on such diagnosis.
